Who is behind VanyaVPN — the story of the service, legal details and how the team works.
Our story
VanyaVPN started in 2022 as an answer to blocking: familiar sites and services were disappearing one after another. We built what we were missing ourselves — a VPN that simply works, with no setup and no technical knowledge required.
Today it is a network of 174 locations, our own apps for Windows, macOS, Linux, Android, iOS and Android TV, payment with Russian cards, and support that answers in Russian.
We keep no activity logs, sell no data and show no ads — the service lives on subscriptions alone.
The team
A distributed team of developers and support specialists is behind the service. Every day we keep 174 locations stable, ship app updates and answer questions on Telegram and by email.
We do not publish names or photos of individual employees — a deliberate decision that comes with the nature of the service and the safety of the team.
